The 140CPU67160 is a Quantum Hot Standby CPU (HSBY) manufactured by Schneider Electric. It is a hot standby processor for system redundancy and reliability and belongs to the Modicon Quantum family of automation platforms. It has a multi-mode Ethernet connection and supports communication protocols such as Modbus, Modbus Plus, Ethernet TCP/IP, etc. It is clocked at 266 MHz and has 1024 kB of internal RAM, with program and file storage space expandable via PCMCIA cards.
